The currently self called Orthodox Churches, were created in the 19th century during the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire.

The Church of Greece was basically established in 1833 to........kill Turks, nothing else, Christian Jihad.

The situation of the European Orthodox Churches with mass abandonments has become so acute that the President of the super influential St. Vladimir Seminary, Chad Hadfield, declared in 2018 that, quote, "Orthodox is going extinct."

Fr. Hadfield clearly made the case that European Orthodoxy was no longer preaching Christ, and they had to RESTART preaching Christ, if they wanted to survive.
